Founder & Inventor
Nakul Goel is an inventor driven by the mission to democratize access to essential resources through breakthrough innovation. He pioneered tensile farming for aeroponics and vertical farming, reducing the cost of permanent infrastructure to an unprecedented $0.30 per square foot—a transformational achievement in sustainable agriculture.
His vision extends beyond food production: to ensure that as humanity transitions into a new global economy—where human productivity is increasingly replaced by humanoid robots and artificial intelligence—everyone still has access to great nutrition at under $1 per meal. This commitment to affordability and accessibility drives his work at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and human dignity.
At OpenDeus, Nakul brings the same radical approach to virtual creation: making it possible for everyone to build and explore immersive worlds, regardless of technical expertise or economic background. His goal is simple yet profound—empower humanity to create infinite beauty together.
Co-Founder & AI Research Lead
Dr. Glaucia Melo is an Assistant Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo. With over 15 years of experience in systems engineering, her research focuses on AI-driven software engineering, human-AI interaction, and context-aware computing.
